How Opt-In Is Received During a Phone Call

ReviewX business customers collect SMS consent (opt-in) from individuals during a live phone call. Before any text messages are sent, the agent or automated voice system (IVR) reads the disclosure below and the customer must verbally agree. The example below shows exactly how that conversation takes place.

Verbal Consent Example

ReviewX IVR: "With your permission, ReviewX can text you automated updates about your recent activity along with occasional review and feedback requests. You can expect around 10 messages each month. Standard message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan. Whenever you need assistance, just reply HELP, and you can cancel anytime by replying STOP. You can review our Terms of Service at https://app.reviewx.ai/terms-and-conditions.html and our Privacy Policy at https://app.reviewx.ai/privacy-policy.html. Would you like to receive these messages? Please answer 'yes' or 'no'."

Customer: "Yes please"
