How Reviewx uses SMS messaging

Reviewx provides an SMS feedback-request service on behalf of its business customers. The following describes the program in full so end users and our messaging partners (Twilio, mobile carriers) can verify that every message we send is consented to and compliant with CTIA, TCPA, and carrier requirements.

Program name

Reviewx Customer Feedback Requests — operated by Reviewx on behalf of the verified business that collected the recipient's consent.

Use case

Customer Care / Account Notifications. Transactional, low-volume messages requesting a review or rating after a completed interaction with the business.

Message frequency

Approximately 1–10 messages per month per recipient, triggered only after a real customer interaction. Recipients never receive marketing or promotional content.

Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply, based on the recipient's mobile carrier plan. Reviewx does not charge end users for messages.

How customers opt in

Reviewx never obtains phone numbers from third-party lists, lead vendors, or scraping. Every recipient has given express prior consent to the business using Reviewx. Consent is captured in one of two ways:

  • Verbal opt-in during a phone call. The agent or IVR reads the full disclosure (program name, frequency, rate disclaimer, STOP/HELP, links to Terms and Privacy Policy) and the caller verbally agrees. The script and a verbatim example are published at Opt-In Documentation.
  • Written opt-in via web form or contract. A checkbox (unchecked by default) is presented next to language that names the sender, message purpose, frequency, rate disclaimer, and links to Terms and Privacy. The recipient must affirmatively check the box.

Consent records — including timestamp, IP (for web opt-in), or call recording reference (for verbal opt-in) — are retained for the duration of the relationship and at least four years after opt-out.

Opt out — reply STOP

Recipients can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. A confirmation SMS is sent and no further messages are delivered.

Get help — reply HELP

Recipients can reply HELP at any time to receive program info and contact details, or email support@reviewx.ai.

Data & phone-number policy

Reviewx does not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile information — including phone numbers and opt-in data — with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the requested feedback messages on behalf of the business that obtained consent. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited content

Reviewx prohibits any use of its SMS program for SHAFT-C content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, cannabis), gambling, loans, debt collection, or any unsolicited marketing. Accounts that violate these rules are terminated.
